I love the 100th day of school. One really fun thing that I did with my students was to have them create creatures that might exist 100 years from now. I used Build Your Wild Self to do this. Students got to choose their options (habitat, body features, clothing, etc.) but all had to be justified. I would allow students to create their wild “selves” and then they saved the image, put it in a document and wrote a paragraph (or more) about the choices that they had made. This is an easily adapted project and connects language arts, science and technology in a fun way. Check it out!
