Students cash in their curiosity to win life-changing prizes
The 2018 Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge is calling all young scientists in 5th-8th grades! Now open for entries, all students need to do is submit a 1-2 minute video explaining their innovative solution to a real-world problem.
WHAT THEY COULD WIN
GRAND PRIZE WINNER
One Young Scientist will win $25,000, the title of America’s Top Young Scientist, and a trip to a taping of a Discovery Network Show
TOP 10 FINALISTS
Ten finalists will each win $1,000, an exclusive mentorship with a 3M scientist, a technology prize pack, and a trip to 3M’s World Headquarters in St.Paul, Minnesota
One teacher or mentor identified by each finalist will receive a Young Scientist Challenge prize pack and special recognition on the YoungScientistLab.com Blog
