Juan Felipe Herrera , the 21st U.S. Poet Laureate, is asking for help from second and third grade students! Along with artist Juana Medina, Herrera is creating an interactive story for poetry month. The Technicolor Adventures of Catalina Neon has already begun and the author and illustrator are requesting help with how to finish the story. This is an EXCELLENT way to get your students writing and involved in a global collaboration project.
