If you have already received badges from the LT Dept. you don’t have to do this. If you have not…you need to follow the instructions linked above.
This goosechase is open to all BISD Employees – Staff, Faculty, Admins, etc. Get your team, get the app, get ready!
What is Goosechase?
Goosechase is an online, interactive scavenger hunt. You can easily join public games or create a custom hunt for you and your buddies. With in-app rankings and photo feeds, it’s bold, crazy and highly addictive.
How do I play BISD Goosechase?
You will need to download the Goosechase iPhone or Android app. You will use your personal device to interact with the game. You will need to form teams of 3-6 individuals from your campus. The Goosechase will open on August 9 and run through August 14. There will be a series of picture, video, text and GPS challenges that will earn your team points. The team with the highest points will win a prize.
NOTE: Many of the challenges require a Twitter account or offer bonus points for sharing via Twitter and social media. It would benefit all teams to have individuals with Twitter accounts set up and ready to share.
How do I join the BISD Goosechase game?
Once you login to the iPhone or Android apps, the first thing to do is join a game. Watch your All Staff email on Tuesday, August 8th and be ready to join the chase. Information regarding entering teams, the game code password and other game related rules will be in that email.
Is Goosechase available for classroom use?
Yes, it is, with individual student devices. Goosechase is not currently compatible with Chromebooks, but it could be applied to classroom use. Set an appointment with your campus Learning Technologies coach to discuss how it could be used.
