April is poetry month. Black out poems are great for students to express creativity through individual choice. Students are provided a page of text and they opt to strike through (or black out) text leaving only the words that they wish to use to create their poem.
Eric Curts (Control Alt Achieve) has taken this idea and redefined it in Google Docs. Check out the walk through video and click this link to share this idea with your students.
