Are you looking for a way to engage your students in spelling or with content vocabulary? Try this activity designed to practice sorting and classifying words as well as soft tech skills like drag and drop and color fill. For the “low-tech” teacher, use a standard six sided die (most elementary teachers I know have them in a small container to keep the pesky things from bouncing all around the room) or use the electronic, online one that is included in the activity.

Edit the word list to meet the needs of your students. If you are using Google Classroom, you merely have to choose “Make a copy for each student” and every student in your class gets his or her own copy to mark up.

The file link is a Template Preview. The elements in the gray side work space do not appear on the template preview. They will appear once you click the Use Template button and create your own editable copy.
